MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL SECRETARY, STATE DEPARTMENT FOR SOCIAL PROTECTION, M/S SUSAN MOCHACHE

The Single Registry is envisaged to act as a central database containing all information on Social Protection programmes implemented across the country.

Currently, the programme carters for over 800,000 beneficiaries under the National Safety Net Programme, commonly known as Inua Jamii.

The Single Registry therefore seeks to enhance efficiency, effectiveness as well as transparency and accountability.

The process of creating the Single Registry has been long and involving.  Government agencies, development partners and other stakeholders dedicated their resources and time for the successful completion and actualization of the systyem.

I commend all those who unreservedly contributed to the success of this project.
